DraftKings Thanksgiving Slate for Week 13 - Tight End (TE)

Sam LaPorta looked to be back to his production from last season, scoring 16, 4, and 15 in Weeks 8 through 10, but quickly followed up with 4 points in a plus matchup against the #Colts. He falls again in a plus matchup against the #Bears, who allowed 9+ points in the last five weeks, including 21 last week to TJ Hockenson. Due to his frustrating outputs, he may land at lower ownership than expected, but temper in the bust potential. Brock Wright lands as a dart, as their numbers and appearance are similar enough to piss you off when he catches a TD, and you played LaPorta that week—sneaky shot. #Lions

With the likely change at QB, Theo Johnson is attractive against the #Cowboys, who allowed 8+ points since Week 5 (except Week 9), including 10+ six times and 15+ twice. With a mark of 11 points and a floor of 6 points in the last four weeks, it promotes the uptick you want toward his mark or better. With a smaller slate, most will gravitate toward it, but he's priced for a strong build around him. I'm almost annoyed he isn't on the Main Slate. Keep an eye on the practice report, as he was limited all week and to end practice today. #Giants

Cole Kmet scored 13 and 7 points in the last two weeks but has been quiet, with 4 points or less in the three previous weeks. The #Lions have allowed TEs to score 10 points or fewer all season. While it doesn't appear to be a strong play, the positive is that the #Bears are playing better, and they allowed 7 and 9 points in the last two weeks, a slight uptick to their strong play against the position. Alex Anzalone may have contributed more effectively against the position, and those numbers are since he's been out. Maybe a shot here. #Bears

Jonnu Smith has scored 23 and 31 points in the last two weeks. He faces the #Packers, who allowed 20 to Kittle last week but limited Kmet and LaPorta to 7 points or fewer in the previous two weeks. This matchup is a guessing game, but I'd assume Smith's usage continues with a shot of 7+, assuming the #Packers contain Hill and Waddle...or Julian Hill or Durham Smythe don't surprise with their 45% and 36% snap count. #Dolphins

By the numbers, Tucker Kraft lands the best matchup on the slate against the #Dolphins, who allowed 15+ points in the last two weeks. Kraft has been sporadic and hasn't always shown up when the data supports it, scoring 10+ in three of the last five weeks and 10 points or fewer in the last three weeks. His snap counts and opportunities are there, but he lands in the same conversation with the rest of the #Packers' WRs. #Packers

Jake Ferguson still hasn't practiced since Tuesday's report, which keeps Luke Schoonmaker in play, as he's scored 11 and 14 points in the last two weeks. The #Giants haven't allowed a TE to score 11 points since Week 4 and 8 points or fewer since then. He's priced low enough to be concerned over those numbers, but it doesn't point toward any upside. #Cowboys
