DraftKings Thanksgiving Slate for Week 13 - Running Back (RB)

David Montgomery practiced in full today (FP). Both backs are in play against the #Bears, who have allowed 17+ points in three of the last four weeks, including 23 points in the last two weeks. Last season, Gibbs scored 17 and 21 points against his former team, while Montgomery scored 11 and 17 points. It's always a coin toss with these two, but the recent production, snap share, and history point toward Gibbs if you can fit his higher price tag, but settling for the lower price of Montgomery isn't a bad pivot. On a slate like this, a double stack is worth a shot. #Lions

By the numbers, the #Giants' RBs have the best matchup against the #Cowboys. Tyrone Tracy snapped 64% in the last three weeks, but that fell back to 40% last week. Devin Singletary snatched a goal-line TD with 35% of the snaps. Oddly, I expect Singletary's snap to equal the balance left by Tracy, but Eric Gray found 25% of the snaps last week, too. It's likely an anomaly, but if it continues, this is a catastrophic mess (which is expected from the #Giants at this point). It may help to limit exposure toward Tracy, but I'd still expect a high roster percentage against the #Cowboys. As shared in previous write-ups, Dallas is inconsistent with the production against them, specifically in the running game. The challenge is the extreme disparity, as RBs have scored 33+ points three times, 19-21 points three times, and 9 points or fewer four times across the season. The lower-tiered group includes the #Giants when Singletary scored 4 points on 68% of the snaps, and Tracy scored 3 points on 25%.

D'Andre Swift's snap count is down to 59%, while Roschon Johnson's is up to 37% over the last three weeks. Swift used to have a larger share, so while he's lead back against the #Lions, Johnson has gained more time each week. Swift has scored 16 points once in the last four weeks and 14 points or fewer in the remaining weeks. Johnson found a floor of 8 points in the previous two weeks, including 11 points two weeks ago. The #Lions have limited RBs to 17 points or fewer in the last five weeks, 14 points or fewer in four games, and 6 points or fewer in the last two games. While Swift should see the most usage, I like Johnson's salary relief and current uptick when it comes to pricing and matchup. #Bears

De'Von Achane has cemented himself atop the Dolphins' timeshare, snapping 61% in the last three weeks and scoring 20+ points in four of the last five weeks. He's priced for a 30-point mark against the Packers, who have limited RBs to 16 points or fewer in the last four weeks, including CMC, D'Andre Swift, and the Lions' backfield. Achane's utilization is through the roof, so while I wouldn't pursue it on a Main Slate, he'll have enough opportunities to impact your lineup. Raheem Mostert has been quiet, scoring only 5 points or fewer and snapping 20% in the last three weeks, and Jaylen Wright scored 1 point or fewer with the same snap share. #Dolphins

Josh Jacobs has been a bell-cow cow, scoring 20+ points in four of the last five weeks, including 31 points last week. Oddly, he's done it with 62% in the previous three weeks and 52% last week. The #Dolphins allowed 19 points or fewer since Week 4, 14 points or fewer in five games, and 12 points or fewer in the last three weeks. Jacobs has a climb, but the usage should give you a shot if you want to go here. Similarly to Achane, I wouldn't chase him on a Main Slate, but volume can be king here. Chris Brooks snapped 27% and scored 3-7 points in the last three weeks, while Emanuel Wilson snapped 20%, scoring 1-9 points. #Packers

Rico Dowdle snapped 53% of the snaps over the last three weeks and 60% last week. Expect that to continue, where he's found a fair floor of 5 points in the last five weeks, including 10+ points in three games. The #Giants have allowed 17+ points in the last five weeks, including 27+ in three games. While it's hard to trust, Dowdle is a solid play. Of course, Zeke could make his annual appearance for the Salvation Army with his 24% snap share...or Deuce Vaughn, who is snapping 10% across that time and 19% last week. #Cowboys
