DraftKings Main Slate for Week 9 - Running Back (RB)

Swift has scored 20+ points over the last four weeks but still maintains a 6.4k price tag and a mark of 25 points against the #Cardinals. Arizona allowed 26 & 16 points to the #Dolphins backfield last week but limited RBs to 12 or fewer points in the previous three weeks. With Swift at a 65% snap count on the season and 73% last week, he should maintain a solid floor with the upside. #Bears

De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert were back on track last week with Tua under center, boosting their 5-week high from 10 to 26 points and 11 to 16 points. Both maintained their season snap average, with Mostert at 46% (45%) and Achane at 58% (55%). The #Bills aren't the safest matchup, limiting RBs to 11 points or fewer in the last two weeks, but provided splashes from Derrick Henry (38), Justice Hill (21), and Breece Hall (24) in two of three weeks prior. They also allowed 29 points to Achane in Week 2, which he's hit in two of their last three games against the #Bills. Mostert can always surprise, but Achane isn't priced out enough to ignore his history and trend toward his 26-point mark. #Bills

By the numbers, Alvin Kamara lands the best matchup against the #Panthers, who slowed production in the last two weeks to 13 points or fewer. The #Panthers allowed 22+ points in five weeks this season, which includes Kamara's total in Week 1. AK hasn't scored over 15 points against the #Panthers outside that game since 2021. His hand injury hasn't hindered him much, but his snaps dipped from 69% on the season to 54% last week. The QB change appeals more to his downgrade, as he's down in snaps (-7%), utilization (-6%), and points per game (-6 points) over the last three weeks. Carr finished the week limited, so it leans toward him going, but it's a significant factor if you want to chase his 31-point mark. #Saints

Bijan Robinson has scored 23+ points in the last three weeks, and the #Cowboys have allowed 19+ in the last two weeks. Robinson's success should continue with a similar floor, but the challenge arrives with his price tag moving with his production and seeking a 29-point mark. He's not priced out enough to attempt to fit if you aren't chasing the top price tag for RBs, but it is enough to limit the chase to squish him in there. Tyler Allegeier arrives with splashes, as he did three weeks ago against the #Panthers with 22 points, surrounded by his 10 points or fewer in 5 weeks. His snap count on the season is 29%, mirrored by his 35% snap last week. I like the sneaky play, as he promotes the bigger body that the #Cowboys have trouble stopping if you can't make your way to Bijan. #Falcons

While his price tag is enormous at 8.2k, Saquon Barkley lands in a perfect matchup against the #Jaguars, who allowed a floor of 18 points to RBs since Week 3, including 28 points to Josh Jacobs last week. Barkely's mark of 32 is challenging to chase, but he present a safe 20-point floor this week. He'll be challenging to build around, but if you're after the dart discounts this week, I like the chase here. #Eagles

I like this sneaky play, as Nick Chubb is quietly returning to his snap usage, going from 37% in his return to 60% last week. Last week against the #Ravens, not much was expected against their top-tier run defense, but the script against the #Chargers lands more favorably. The #Chargers allowed 18 & 20 points in the last two weeks. It's not a layup toward Chubb's 23-point mark, as LA has limited RBs to 16 points or fewer the rest of the way, but a price tag of 5.8k is a fair risk to build around. #Browns

With Zach Moss doubtful, Chase Brown is in line for a larger workload against the #Raiders. This is a little bothersome because Brown has played well, but based on his fantasy production of 14 or fewer in the last three weeks, his price is already baked-in, even though he was 5.8k last week. Brown has found some splashes hitting 16 and 23 in weeks 4 and 5. While the #Raiders limited Hunt to 13 points last week, they 15+ the rest of the way, including 23 (Najee), 25 (Dobbins), and 30 (Chuba) points. A 15-point floor presents realistic, with hopes of the upside and usage toward his 23-point mark. With Brown being a smaller back, there is always the possibility that Trayveon Williams fills the Zach Moss role, but maybe to a lesser degree. He's a high-risk dart at 4k. #Bengals

Tony Pollard is questionable, having had a week of not practicing (DNP). If he doesn't go, we have two 4k RBs in play, with Julius Chestnut being the front-runner and Joshua Kelley playing spoiler (likely up from the practice squad). While the #Titans aren't a great offense, they've landed a matchup and script that should keep the running game heavily in play. The #Patriots allowed 26+ points in two of the last three weeks to Tank Bigsby and Joe Mixon, with Breece Hall and Braelon Allen as the outliers with 9 points each (19.10 total). With both having marks of 16 points, they are in solid consideration if Pollard doesn't go. The biggest challenge is if Kelley plays a spoiler to the more-likely benefactor of Julius Chestnut. Darts away. #Titans

With Bryce Young, Chuba Hubbard scored 11 & 9 points over the last two weeks, down from his 15-point floor and 25-point ceiling three weeks prior. He's up 11% on his snap count in the last three weeks (79%) from his 68% season average. The usually strong run defense of the #Saints has allowed 16+ points in the last four weeks, including 26 (Javonte Williams) & 37 (Sean Tucker) points to RBs. His mark of 26 points arrives with challenges with Bryce at the helms, but if not for that, he lands a very solid play. #Panthers

Kyren Williams scored 19+ points in the last five weeks, including 31 points in Week 3. While his price is searching for 32 points, his snap % and usage are near the top in the league. While there is some reluctance with his 17-point history against the #Seahawks last season, Seattle has allowed 26 (Bijan) & 31 (James Cook) points to RBs in the last two weeks. #Rams

I almost promoted this last week vs. the #Jets, which I should have (sorry), as Stevenson was back to 80% snap and 23 points. The script against the #Titans should land similarly with his usage, which lands nicely with his 6.3k price tag and 25-point mark. The #Titans provide a more formidable challenge against the run, as they've limited backs to 16 points or fewer across the season, except for two games. Breece Hall & Braelon Allen hit 24 and 19 points in Week 2, and Jahmyr Gibbs landed 23 points last week. #Patriots

Tyrone Tracy has scored 17+ points in three of the last four weeks and 22+ points in two of the previous three weeks, with a dud of 6.2 points as the anomaly. Even with Devin Singletary's return, Tracy snapped 71% over the last three weeks and 67% last week. While 70% may not land, he has cemented a role with this offense that needs his play-making abilities. Whether through the air or the ground, Tracy can optimize his touches. His mark of 22 points against the #Commanders presents favorable, as Washington has allowed 21+ in two of the last three weeks. #Giants
