DraftKings Main Slate for Week 6 - Defense/Special Teams (DST)

The #Packers are underpriced for their production, which has been 7+ points the entire season, including 10+ points in three games. While the #Cardinals are usually a good offense, they do have lapses, which include a steady floor of 7+ points over the last three weeks, including 11 points last week (SF). Solid play for a 12-point mark.

The #Falcons defense scored 2-3 points all season, outside of the 17 against the #Saints two weeks ago. While it seemed Andy Dalton would limit production with the -2 & 2 points against them in Weeks 3 & 4, 14 points arrived last week vs. CHI, which matched their starting point of the season with 14 & 11. ATL produced 7 & 12 points last season vs. CAR, so we don't have a smash spot here, but they are welcome if your lineup lands here. #Falcons

The #Eagles are fresh off a bye and healthy on offense. Their defense struggles, but they do make splashes, just not so much this season, with highs of 7 points and a floor of 1 point. The #Browns have been giving, allowing 13+ three times this season, which is Philly's mark. Solid play. #Eagles

The #Broncos' Defense has played well, scoring 10+ points in four of the five weeks and 15, 11, & 16 points over the last three weeks. They landed 14 & 9 points against the #Chargers last year, who are coming off a bye and only allowing 1, 5, 9, & 6 points on the season. The appeal is more for the #Broncos, who have a mark of 12 points, rather than their matchup. #Broncos

The #Steelers have injuries on the edge, so while the matchup is appealing vs. the #Raiders, the price tempers any chase for them. Don't let that statement deter you, as I strongly welcome them, but I'm not dumping a good player to land them if it helps any understanding of my perspective. Any concern is alleviated with three 11+ scores throughout the season, which only includes one dud of 2 points and a fair outing of 9 points. They also landed 11 & 13 points against the #Raiders over the last two years. LV has been friendly, allowing 11 16 in the previous two weeks. #Steelers

The #Texans only hit 15 points in Week 2 and scored four or fewer the rest of the way. There's not much allure for them outside of the matchup, which is solid vs. the #Patriots, who allowed 6 points last week (struggling MIA) but provided 16 & 22 points to NYJ & SF. Drake Maye could offer some blips toward their 14-point mark. #Texans

While Spencer Rattler presents some solid opportunity at 4k, he also can land the #Buccaneers' Defense with multiple gifts this week. TB is usually a more stingy defense, but they've only produced 11 points vs. PHI and dudded with five or fewer the rest of the season. They scored 1 & 13 vs. the #Saints last year, who allowed 7, 17, & 7 over the last three weeks (PHI, ATL, KC). They are priced phenomenally for the upside, which is all we can ask for with a defense. #Buccaneers

While it is more likely to be the injuries with the #Eagles than the trend, I never like to neglect it, as the #Eagles (while injured) allowed 11 points to defenses over the last two games. Some recovery and a bye week should fix that, but the #Browns could surprise, or maybe Philly has a hangover. CLE is cheap enough to find out, their defense is solid, and Hurts has been prone to some turnovers. It's not an ideal play, especially with injuries in the #Browns secondary, but we've all seen odder things occur—risky dart. #Browns

The #Colts only have one double-digit output (vs. CHI), so this leans more toward the matchup with the #Titans, who allowed 11+ in the first three weeks, including two 20+ outputs from defenses. The #Dolphins dudded vs. the #Titans, but that game was the first after Tua's injury, so I see that as more of an anomaly. Indy scored 18 points against Tennessee last year, but since that last game, they haven't produced more than 8 points in two years. The middling price and 12-point mark make them a nice defense to accept with a solid build. #Colts
