DraftKings Main Slate for Week 15 - Tight End (TE)

The week of the injured starting TE begins with Daniel Bellinger, who has an 11-point mark against the #Ravens. Baltimore allowed 12, 8, 6, and 16 points in the last four weeks. While it could be more appealing, Bellinger, like many TEs on this slate, is about creating a strong build. There isn't much upside here, but surprises are always welcome. #Giants

Based on the numbers, Jake Ferguson lands the best matchup against the #Panthers, who allowed 10+ in six of the last eight games. Jake Ferguson is hard to trust, as he's scored 8 points or fewer in four of the previous five games. These are the challenging plays that most avoid in #DFS, which I fully understand. It's hard to warrant building here, but the price is reasonable enough not to bust your lineup. He might not be your first pick, but take the shot if the other eight pieces come together. #Texans

Chig Okonkwo keeps flipping his snap counts, as he's back to 71% from last week. He lands a solid matchup against the #Bengals. Outside of the 6 points to Ferguson last week, the #Bengals have allowed 15+ points in the four previous weeks and 18 points in the three previous games. His price only seeks an 11-point mark, which lands probable if his 70%+ snap continues. Solid dart. #Titans

Jonnu Smith is priced for a mark of 21 points, which makes the chase a little challenging, but he's scored 13+ points over the last four weeks, including games of 23, 24, and 31. While you'll need the upside, the #Texans likely provide a floor, as they've allowed 11-15 points in the last four weeks. #Dolphins

The matchup against the #Chiefs doesn't promote TE production, so David Njoku is not recommended if he plays. It's not to avoid Njoku, but his price is high not to warrant the chase against KC, who has limited TEs to 8 points or fewer in four of the last five games. They have allowed some splashes to premier TEs, so if you want the shot Njoku, roll with it. Njoku aside, if he doesn't go, Jordan Akins is in play with a mark of 10 points. He's worth a shot with a QB who likes his TE, allows a strong build, and won't bust your lineup if he duds. #Browns

Dalton Schultz landed when promoted before the bye week with 17 points, which is appealing since he's dudded most of the season. He arrives against the #Dolphins, who limited Tyler Conklin to 6 points last week but allowed 13+ points in the previous three weeks. His mark is precisely that. He's worth a shot at his low price tag. #Texans

Trey McBride continued his solid floor of 14 last week (likely below his mark), but it was his lowest output in the previous three weeks, which included 21 and 28-point games. In a week like this, with so many discounts, a TE can stand apart if they all dud, and he hits or provides a solid flex option. The #Patriots have limited lesser TEs to 8 points or fewer in three of the last four games but allowed 23 points to Jonnu Smith two weeks ago. Keep using him.

The #Saints allowed 9 points to Daniel Bellinger last week and 19 points to David Njoku three weeks ago. Zach Ertz should find that floor or better, as he's scored 12+ points in the previous three games. His price is right on the cusp of concern, as his mark is 16 points, but he flirted with that in Week 12 and surpassed it in Week 11. #Commanders

With Evan Engram out, Brenton Strange arrives at the minimum price and a 10-point mark. Engram missed Weeks 2-5, where Strange scored 9, 9, 4, and 12 points. While one eclipsed his mark, the others were close enough to appreciate the play. The difference here is Trevor Lawrence is not the quarterback. While it's a downgrade in the position, Engram received enough targets and production with Mac Jones. While there isn't much appeal for the matchup against the #Jets, It's hard not to chase the price tag and history. #Jaguars

Pat Freiermuth is becoming a go-to, which started with a good matchup against the #Bengals two weeks ago, scoring 18 points, and a Pickens-less team last week, scoring 13 points. Expect the uptick in targets to continue without Pickens against the #Eagles, who allowed 7 points to Tommy Tremble last week, a combined 32 points to the #Ravens two weeks ago, and 18 points to Zach Ertz in Week 11. Freiermuth's mark of 15 points is within reach. #Steelers

Grant Calcaterra is a solid player. When Goedert misses, he's filled in well during the season, scoring 8-10 points in four out of five games. While the 8-10 points aren't exciting, he's likely to hit his mark in those four games. He arrives with a 14-point mark this week, so you'll need a little help against the #Steelers. They've allowed seven games of 10+ points, including the last two. #Eagles

Stone Smartt starts in place of the injured Will Dissly. He scored 8 points last week in relief duty on 36% of the snaps. The #Chargers don't have the running game they started the season with and need weapons, especially if Ladd McConkey doesn't play. Another low mark of 10 points creates a solid build. #Chargers

Production against the #Commanders is solid, allowing 10+ points since Week 9, except last week against the #Titans. Juwan Johnson has an 8-point floor in the previous three weeks, including 12 and 15 points. Foster Moreau could crash the party with a similar snap count to Johnson, snapping 72% last week. Johnson is a solid dart to build around. #Saints
