DraftKings Main Slate for Week 14 - Wide Receiver (WR)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has taken the reigns recently, scoring 11+ points in the last five weeks and 19+ points in three of the last four weeks. While DK Metcalf has been quiet, he has scored 7-14 points in the previous five weeks. While he can break the trend, historically, DK has never produced well against the #Cardinals, scoring 14 points or fewer since 2019. Tyler Lockett was always my go-to when he faced the #Cardinals, with a trend that started in 2020, scoring 56 points and continuing with 17+ points in all games but two up to 2023. That trend may have been handed to JSN, scoring 16+ in two of three games, including 19 in Week 12. His recent floor, attached to the recent history, promotes him as a strong player toward his 25-point mark. The only challenge to this mark is the #Cardinals limiting WRs to 19 points or fewer since Week 5. #Seahawks

WRs against the #Panthers have been quiet, primarily due to the offenses. Mike Evans confirmed some of the previous trends, scoring 28 points last week after the #Panthers limited WRs to 14 points or fewer for three weeks. Before that, WRs scored 15+ points since the start of the season. Expect more of the same with AJ Brown as the pursuit, but you can settle for DeVonta Smith (practiced in full all week) if you can't afford the high price tag. #Eagles

The #Bears kept the #Lions' WRs quiet last week but allowed 22 and 33 points in the two previous weeks. Ricky Pearsall saw the field for 66% in the last three weeks but landed three zeroes. He's a high-risk dart. Jauan Jennings scored 8 and 9 points in the previous two weeks (including a snow game) but previously landed 16 and 25 points. He should bounce back to some semblance of those uptick weeks. Deebo Samuel has provided a disappointing season, but the injuries in the backfield should point to his usage going up. While Guerendo is the back to own, Deebo could see a sizable uptick of touches. He's priced to match his horrendous production of 12 points or fewer in the last five weeks, including 6 points or fewer in the previous three games. It's a high risk, but one that wins big money, as most won't be comfortable pulling the trigger until they see it. #49ers

Since Week 5, the Browns have allowed WRs 16+ points. George Pickens is likely the first option to benefit, but oddly, I like a surprise from one of the counter options. I'd prefer to promote Mike Williams, but his snap share of 28% over the last three weeks is hard to recommend. Calvin Austin is in consideration, but his snaps have been down, although he scored 16 points against the #Browns two weeks ago. My odd dart lands with Van Jefferson, as Cleveland has allowed secondary options of Marvin Mims (22), Calvin Austin (16), Quentin Johnston (25), Tee Higgins (18), DeVonta Smith (15), Tre Tucker (15), and Brandin Cooks (14) to find production. It's not the safest dart and can land with either of the previously mentioned, but for 3.2k, it's not a player that can destroy your lineup. While it's not his 12-point mark you're chasing, he has scored 5 points over the last two games. #Steelers

The #Jaguars are friendly to all positions, allowing 22+ points in the last two weeks. Calvin Ridley has tiered off, scoring 14 points or fewer in the previous three weeks, while Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has scored 21+ points in two of the last three weeks, with 12 points being the outlier. I will likely have one of these two or Pollard in my lineup. I prefer the running game against the #Jaguars, but getting to one of these lower price tags is still worth it, as the #Titans' offense is centralized between these three players. With the salary relief at RB, it may land with one of the receivers, which I'll chase Ridley first, but gladly accept the unrealistic trend Ikhine-Westbrook has landed this season. #Titans

The #Bills' WRs are a coin toss. I like the direction of the #Rams and #Bills game, but the data is all over the place, and the #Bills' WRs have snap counts that range from 45-69% over the last three games, with Mack Hollins being the leader of that range. This doesn't include Keon Coleman, who may return this week, practicing limited the entire week. The #Rams have allowed sporadic production, but primarily to good offenses, aligning with the #Bills. This may be the Amari Cooper breakout game, even though he's only snapped 49% since the trade. I like Khalil Shakir as the second chase. Utilizing one of these plays will be hard, but something should arrive here. #Bills

Until Mike Evans hits 8k, he's in play. Outside of the rushing attack, he's a lone target for Baker Mayfield and on a chase to continue his 1000-yard season. The #Raiders limited the #Chiefs to 13 points or fewer, but in the previous two games, Tyreek Hill and Courtland Sutton had 19 and 29 points. Evans should score that floor or better. #Buccaneers

Trusting this receiving core hasn't been easy, especially with Kirk Cousins playing poorly. London has 17 points in two of the last five weeks and 10 points or fewer as the outliers. Darnell Mooney has been injured and scored 14 or fewer in the previous three weeks after hitting 18 and 19 points. Oddly, Ray-Ray McCloud has a floor of 10+ points in three of the last four weeks, including 10 and 13 points in the last two weeks. The #Vikings have been friendly, landing as the best matchup, allowing 17+ points in the previous three weeks, including 22, 23, and 29 points. All three are solid plays and priced accordingly. I'd prefer to land with London, but the data isn't centralized, with all three able to hit their marks. #Falcons

The #Saints have allowed 17+ points in the last three weeks, with trends previously landing toward primary-slot WRs. While the upside of the slot is existent, it doesn't limit it to only that trend. I state that because I like the shot of Wan'Dale Robinson's discount this week. While he hasn't produced more than 10 points in the last five weeks, and Drew Lock hasn't impressed, the #Saints have been vulnerable inside to both WRs and TEs. The #Giants don't lean much on their TE, which leaves an injured Nabers, Tracy, and Robinson. I like all three for their price and opportunities. These are players I'll accept rather than chase. #Giants

The data for the #Giants doesn't support MVS, as New York has yet to allow a WR to score more than 11 points since Week 9. He is listed because he's cheap, the primary target in the offense, and has scored 11, 16, and 28 points in the last three weeks. He's priced reasonably enough to utilize. #Saints

One of these two should hit. Tyreek scored 28 points in his last game against the #Jets, while Jaylen Waddle scored 22 and 31 points in his previous two games (one without Tyreek). Sauce Gardner is out. The #Jets are better against WRs, so it's not a layup, but I've always chased in-division trends, as these teams know each other. While it's not a layup, the #Jets aren't a shutdown either. While they limited the #Seahawks to 11 points or fewer, they allowed 16+ in the three weeks prior. #Dolphins
