DraftKings Main Slate for Week 14 - Tight End (TE)

TJ Hockenson has scored 15+ in two of the last four weeks and 5 points or fewer in the outliers. He's priced reasonably enough to consider against the #Falcons, who limited lesser TEs to 8 points or fewer in the last three weeks. Atlanta allowed 10+ points three weeks in a row, three weeks before that. I don't love the shot at Hockenson, but he's in play. The primary reason for this write-up is Josh Oliver, who is priced for a 10-point mark and scored 6+ points in the last four games, including 9+ if you count the ones he finished healthy. Johnny Mundt filled his role last week, scoring 10 points. Oliver is a phenomenal dart to build around if you want to chase high-priced players. He primarily snaps 60% and has two games of 11 and 16 points, even with Hockenson as the primary TE. Darnold has comfort here. #Vikings

This is likely too early, but Tyler Higbee looks set to return for the #Rams. I don't have any clarity on his usage. He's only 3.2k, so he needs 12 to pay the bills. I'm sure I'll dig into it further to see what I can find, but I haven't read anything that would lead me toward a single entry. It may be a multi-shot, but I don't have enough to warrant it. #Rams

By the numbers, Grant Calcaterra lands the best matchup against the #Panthers, who allowed 10+ points since Week 6, except last week to Cade Otton and three weeks ago to Theo Johnson. They've allowed 14+ points in four of those games, which is Calcaterra's mark. Expect a floor of 8-10 with hopes of the endzone. #Eagles

George Kittle was on a tear, scoring 14+ points in four straight weeks, but settled in with 1 point last week due to a snow game. The #Bears rejuvenated Sam LaPorta and TJ Hockenson to 15 and 21 points over the previous two weeks, so expect more of the same. He's priced toward a 23-point mark, so you'll likely need the rare 100-yard game or the endzone. I like the shot, but I'm not chasing the price tag. #49ers

My excitement two weeks ago landed with Chig scoring 14 points, but unfortunately, his snaps regressed to 65% last week. While he's still playable at his 12-point mark, there is some pause due to the downtick of snaps. The matchup is appealing against the #Jaguars, as they've allowed 15+ points in five of the last seven games. Brock Wright (7) and Grant Calcaterra (8) were outliers who filled in decently for their injured starters. #Titans

Since the #Buccaneers got healthy, Cade Otton's numbers have dwindled to 8 points or fewer in the last three weeks. Unfortunately, his salary hasn't fallen as similarly, as we are used to him as an option below 4k. If that were the case, I'd love this opportunity against the #Raiders, who allowed 13+ points in four of the last five weeks, including 25, 30, and 31 to Kelce, Gesicki, and Jonnu Smith. While we don't have the luxury of a sub-4k price tag, his mark of 17 points isn't impossible. While I'm sure I'll have some stacks with him and Meyers, he's someone I'll accept rather than pursue. #Buccaneers

Tyler Conklin is consistently inconsistent, so this is a matchup play, as the #Dolphins provided 13+ points in the last three weeks. At sub-3k, his mark is only 12 points. He snaps 84% consistently, so he's not a bad piece to build around and has a chance to hit his mark. #Jets

Ja'Tavion Sanders practiced in full to end the week. Bryce Young has comfort with Sanders, finding a floor of 7+ points in four of the last five weeks. Expect that floor to continue with a shot toward his 13-point mark, as the #Eagles have allowed 11+ points in four of the last six weeks. #Panthers

The matchup against the #Steelers doesn't support David Njoku's production, especially since he scored 3 points against them two weeks ago. That aside, he has the Jameis effect and has scored 17+ in three of the last five weeks. I don't love the price for the dart option, but he's worth a shot in multi-entries. #Browns

Trey McBride has a floor of 11+ in the last five weeks, including 21 and 28 points in the last two weeks. One of those games was against the #Seahawks, who he faces again this week. Outside of McBride's 28 points, Seattle has limited the TE to 7 points or fewer since Week 9. I don't love the chase here, but it's worth considering, especially if he lands to you (likely in the flex) a strong build. #Cardinals

Brock Bowers is becoming a price tag that only warrants the flex position, as his mark has landed at 26 points this week. It's justified. He's scored 33+ points in two of the last three weeks. The matchup is warranted, too, as the #Buccaneers have allowed 12+ points since Week 7, including 20, 25, and 26 points to Mark Andrews, Kyle Pitts, and Travis Kelce. Fit him if you can. #Raiders
