DraftKings Main Slate for Week 14 - Quarterback (QB)

Sam Darnold is priced for a solid build and a solid floor toward his 24-point mark. He's scored 19+ points in four of the last five weeks and faces the #Falcons, who've allowed 20+ points every week since Week 8, except last week (Herbert). With the significant turnovers last week, it didn't require much of Herbert, so I assess that as an anomaly. It's a solid play...assuming the #Vikings' D doesn't land similarly. #Vikings

The production against the #Bills has been 18 points or fewer since Week 6. It limits the appeal to punch Matthew Stafford in your lineup, but the game script leans toward garbage time, at a minimum. Stafford has the weapons to produce, scoring 15+ points in four of the last five weeks and 18+ points in three games. He should provide a good-enough floor toward his 22-point mark while allowing a strong build around him. #Rams

By the numbers, Will Levis lands the best matchup against the #Jaguars, who allowed intermittent production to the position in the last five weeks after surrendering 20+ since Week 2. The anomalies involve Jordan Love getting injured, Sam Darnold, and CJ Stroud. Due to the last two names, there is some concern that the #Jaguars are limiting production, but Levis has established a floor of 16 points in the last four weeks. Expect the floor to continue with his mark of 20 points in range...or better—fair play to build around. #Titans

While Josh Allen isn't hitting his mark most weeks, when you have a condensed slate, sometimes it's easy to chase the safe floor of 20+ points, which he's delivered in the last five weeks. This game against the #Rams should require more, with the game away and the #Rams being a better offense. The challenge with chasing the extremely high mark of 32 points arrives with the #Rams limiting QBs to 19 points or fewer since Week 10. You'll need the shootout or James Cook to avoid the endzone. #Bills

The matchup against the #Vikings doesn't present a layup, but Kirk Cousins hit the hopeful rock-bottom last week. Similarly to Jared Goff's bounce back of his five-interception game, Kirky has a chance to bounce back and arrives with the revenge narrative if you're into those headlines. His price has dropped $1200 since Week 10, scoring 14, 5, and 6 points. His mark is 22 points, which seems like an uphill climb when assessing his last three weeks. This is what #DFS is all about. It doesn't always "feel" comfortable. Hopefully, to add some, he is in familiar territory playing at Minnesota, who has allowed 16+ in the last three weeks, including 29 points to Caleb Williams. #Falcons

Drew Lock lands as a price chase rather than the allure of his numbers or the matchup against the #Saints. While New Orleans has 15 and 29 points in the last two weeks, they've limited QBs to 14 or fewer points in six games this season. There isn't much safety here, including whether Malik Nabers plays, creating much less allure. The negatives aside, he's still priced to build around and only needs 18 points to pay the bills. Last week, he scored 16 points against the #Cowboys, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities. I wouldn't recommend him for a single entry, but I like the approach of stacking Wan'Dale Robinson or Darius Slayton and stacking the rest in a multi-entry. #Giants

Famous Jameis never gets old. He's good for football...and fantasy. He's scored 27+ points in three of his last five games. The challenge with all that positivity is one of those 27-point anomalies was against the #Steelers, where he scored 15 points. The #Steelers have kept QBs quiet most of the season, allowing 22 points in Week 5 (Dak) and 25 points last week (Burrow). QBs have scored 15 points or fewer outside of that production. He's priced comfortably enough to minimize the risk of those negative concerns, as we know he can thrash his 21-point mark. #Browns

Aidan O'Connell found 23 points against the #Chiefs last week, allowing for a shot at his low price and against the #Buccaneers, who have allowed 17+ points all season except against Spencer Rattler (14) and Tommy DeVito (10). The bad thing about that stat is that O'Connell parallels those quarterbacks and offenses. His mark is 19 points, and his salary won't destroy your lineup, but ensure that you build it with him as the only risk factor. If you can't find that, I'd go elsewhere. I love the shot in a multi-entry slate. #Raiders

While the #Jaguars ran the ball almost every play once Mac Jones stepped in for Trevor Lawrence, eventually, the passing game started rolling, and Jones looked comfortable. He scored 20 points against the #Texans and faces the #Titans, who have allowed 15+ points since Week 7. A high ceiling is less probable, but with a mark of 20 points, you're not chasing that. While it's welcome, 15 points seem probable, which won't bust your lineup. #Jaguars
