DraftKings Main Slate for Week 14 - Defense/Special Teams (DST)

The #Seahawks' Defense has played well, scoring 14+ points in the last two weeks, including 20 points against the #Cardinals. Outside of that splash against the #Seahawks, the #Cardinals have limited defenses to 6 points or fewer since Week 7. There isn't much appeal to chase here outside of their last game, but they are priced fair enough to accept if they fall to you. #Seahawks

The #Vikings are the top defense, so they are a safe and solid play most weeks, producing 7+ points in four of the last five weeks. Unfortunately, they dudded the previous week with 5 points to the #Cardinals, so there are letdowns. That aside, they are priced well against the #Falcons, who allowed 8+ points in the last three weeks, including 13 and 19 points in the last two weeks. While everyone will tote the revenge narrative for Kirky, isn't it fair to say the #Vikings' Defense has their own revenge narrative for him leaving them? Just saying. #Vikings

The price for the #Eagles' Defense is hard to justify, as they haven't lit up the world, and the #Panthers have limited output against them. The #Eagles have a solid floor of 6+ in four of the last five games. The #Panthers have kept defenses to 4 points or fewer in the previous four games. Honestly, I'm amazed to write that. Kudos to Bryce Young for coming around. All data and celebrations aside, the #Eagles are playing well, and there's no reason it can't translate if you can pay up. I wouldn't drive myself insane trying to fit them, but I would gladly accept them, as there should be some opportunities for them to splash. #Eagles

The #Steelers face Jameis and the #Browns, who allowed 7+ in three of the last four weeks, including 18 points to the #Chargers in Week 9 and 20 points to the #Broncos last week. The #Steelers recently faced the #Browns, producing 7 points in Week 12 and 7 and 26 points last season. They'll be popular. #Steelers

The #Titans are playing better, which helps their defense, which has scored 0, 10, 4, 0, and 11 points in the last five weeks. It's more volatile than you'd prefer, but it does promote the opportunity for the upside against the #Jaguars. Their history against them is poor, scoring 5 points or fewer in the last two seasons. The #Jaguars allowed 8+ points in three of the previous four weeks, including 10 and 13 points. They were able to limit the #Texans to 3 points last week. I don't love it. I don't hate it. #Titans

The #Buccaneers' Defense has been quiet, scoring 5 points or fewer in four of the last five weeks. The outlier was 10 points against the #Giants. They are pricey for this poor production, but the #Raiders have allowed a steady floor of 5 points all season and 6 points since Week 4. Defenses are challenging to predict, but I don't love that the #Raiders allowed double digits from Weeks 4 to 7 and now reduced that output to 9 points or fewer in four of the last five weeks. Temper your chase here, but they can land worth it if you can land here. #Buccaneers

The Saints have scored 5 points or fewer in four of the last five weeks, with 8 points against the Falcons as the outlier. They produced 14 points against the Giants last season, which has a chance to arrive since New York has allowed 8+ points since Week 5, except to the Commanders in Week 9. That reign of points includes 10 points twice, 15 points twice, and 17 points once. They are a fair shot to fall to, but I don't love that it's in NY. #Saints

The #Dolphins dudded last week with -1 against the #Packers but found a floor of 6+ in the three previous weeks, including 9 points in two games. The #Jets allowed 12+ points in two of the last three games. The #Dolphins are historically appealing, scoring 21 and 24 points last season. I like this shot. #Dolphins

The #Cardinals have surprisingly been solid, scoring 7+ points in the last four weeks, including 12 points three and four weeks ago. Within that span, they scored 8 points against the #Seahawks, who have allowed 7+ points since Week 8, including 15 points last week—nice mid-range defense to land with, especially playing at home. #Cardinals

By the numbers, the #Jaguars land the best matchup against the #Titans, who have allowed 7+ points since Week 10. Last season, Jacksonville scored 3 and 7 points, and while they have splashed for 11 and 10 points in Week 9 and 10, they landed 2 and -4 points in the last two weeks. They are fair dart if you want to pay down for a defense. #Jaguars
